Savor the flavors, stories, and spirits of Barbados on our Tastes & Tales Tour—an unforgettable 3-hour culinary and cultural experience set against the stunning backdrop of Harrison’s Cave Eco-Adventure Park.

Guests are warmly welcomed by our Customer Service team before meeting their dedicated Tour Guide, who provides a full overview of the experience. After receiving wristbands, the group is led to the Rum Tasting Room to enjoy a brief orientation and an inspiring 8-minute “Discover Barbados” video showcasing the natural beauty of Harrison’s Cave and other island highlights.

Next, delve into the history of Mount Gay Rum with a short feature video and guided tasting. Sample a selection of rums while learning about their unique characteristics, distillation processes, and cultural importance.

Then it is time to get cooking! In our Culinary Room, guests are paired with personal stations stocked with local ingredients and tools. With guidance from our culinary hosts, prepare authentic Bajan favorites such as flying fish, green banana, and rum-glazed bread pudding, all while learning the traditions and tales behind each dish.

To conclude, sit back and enjoy your handmade Bajan meal, paired with a signature island cocktail. As the group relaxes, your Tour Guide will lead a casual wrap-up discussion where guests are invited to share their highlights from the experience.

Before departure, stop by the Gift Shop to purchase your special recipe card and browse local treasures. Whether you are a food lover, a culture seeker, or simply craving a taste of the island, this experience offers a true slice of Barbadian life.
